FOOD SENSITIVITY TESTING & NUTRITIONAL ADVICE

Food Sensitivity Testing & Nutritional Advice

Today’s modern diets and lifestyles mean that many of us are eating the wrong foods for our individual bodies leading to inflammation and/or digestive disorders, which in turn, can lead to more serious health problems. You may be experiencing allergies, food intolerances, nutritional insufficiencies, gut dysbiosis (bloating, bacterial imbalance, fungal candidiasis, parasites etc), health issues (fertility, thyroid, autoimmune disease etc) and of course, these issues may well be adversely affecting your life.

Your Consultation

During your first appointment (1 hour) we will take the time to listen to you and take note of your health concerns. We will discuss your lifestyle, work environment, diet, sleep patterns, family medical history, current medications and/or supplements, also your desired outcome. We will then run a food intolerance test on you, for which we use the bio resonance technique to provide us with instant results (see below).

You will leave your first appointment with a fully personalised elimination plan detailing exactly what we would like you to do for the following 8 weeks with your diet, supplements and lifestyle in order to begin your journey towards optimum health.

After those initial 8 weeks, we offer follow-up appointments where we will adjust your elimination plan to a maintenance level, intended to be followed for up to 1 year.

Our Method of Testing – What is Bioresonance?

Bio resonance is a quick, non-invasive, 100% risk free, and pain free (no needles involved!) way of testing for food intolerances. You will need to hold onto an electrode plugged into a small electronic device, and we will use the machine to test you for each item. The machine provides instant results for the items that are tested and allows you to be tested for a select few additional items of your choice that are not already included in the standard test e.g. spices, herbs, shampoos, fabric detergents. Please ask for details when booking if you wish to bring additional items for testing.

As the results are instant, we will be able to explain what the results mean for you, all during your first appointment. Almost anyone can be tested – the only exceptions are those with pacemakers fitted or in the first trimester of pregnancy.

Do I need an allergy test or a food sensitivity/intolerance test?

The answer to this question will depend on your symptoms. Some symptoms may be caused by food intolerance (e.g. bloating, reflux, headaches, fatigue, nausea) while others may be caused by an acute allergy (e.g. anaphylactic shock following consumption of peanuts).

To further complicate matters, some symptoms (e.g. rashes, urticaria, eczema, asthma) could be caused by either allergies or intolerances, so you would need both an allergy test (your GP can advise on referring you for a blood test or skin prick test) plus a food intolerance test (we can help you with this). If you have further questions that you would like to ask, please do not hesitate to call us directly on 07780 901507 for a free, no-obligation discussion of your symptoms.
